Thanks Mark.  He'll be fine.  He could've gone on it if needed.  I've had him icing it today.  I think we've all had sprained ankles in the past, and it'll just take time to get it repaired.

Three weeks ago, he told me, "Dad, my ankle is bothering me a bit." I said, "Get them taped up by the trainer."

Fast forward to last night on the ride home; "Dad, I know you told me to have the trainer wrap my ankles before games...."  Me: "Yes I did."  End of conversation.

I think he learned that his old man may know a little bit more than he gives me credit for.  Hahaha.  At least it wasn't serious, but GEEZ!!!  C'mon kid.

Is your son a better baseball or football prospect?  Speedy recovery Austin!

Definitely baseball.  He's good in football, but with the position change this year from QB to RB, it's been interesting.

One thing he could do to help speed things up is use some Myoflex (OTC). Did wonders for me when I played and had hurt one of my ankles. Its greaseless, odorless, no heat. I would apply it right before bed time and wrap it in saran wrap. That's literally how the doc told me to do it. It worked well.
