So, sounds like our suspended OTs are nowhere near returning?

And may never, which is what Chip speculated on.

Reading the tea leaves, I expect to see Daje & Turner return before Estelle (who I think has a better chance of making it back than Harrison).

Ash was very emotional (to be expected) but he's not devastated. He'll move on and be fine with Faith like he has.

[Matt Cotcher]

Any word on putting someone else on punt returns other than Shipley?  I like Jax, but it seems that ever since his injury, he's a fair catch machine.  If that's all we're going to do, let's line up everyone at the LOS and go after every punt.

Strong specifically mentioned the poor blocking on punt & kick returns and that they need to fix that before changing returners.

Kansas will be a great opportunity to work on punt returns.

[Juan]

Strong seems determined to protect Heard's ship.

I have never detected any deviation from that.

Have y'all?

None.

I don't know that I'd say he's "determined" to do it so much as he knows this team can win right now. He doesn't think Heard gives the team the best chance to do that and he's not about to burn his shirt just to get him a little experience.

Hassan Ridgeway will start for Tank

[Juan]

Two positives.

Greg Daniels is back.  This should help the run game.

Estelle and Harrison are at least allowed to practice.

Diggs needs to quit calling out teammates in public. Keep that in the locker room. Not to mention that his play is not exactly head and shoulders above his teammates.

[Matt Cotcher]

FYI, Shawn Watson and a few players will meet with the media around 7cst. Follow me on Twitter (@MLCotcher) for live updates. We'll get them up on the board ASAP.
