Crossfire Caveman's Poll Suggestion

I quit interacting on the website when it became pay for premium.  I came back today to consider going month to month so I could read Crossfire.  Then I saw that Crossfire was discontinued.

I don't care why it was discontinued.  The only relevant point is that it is no more on HornSports.

I fear if I were to make it known that I do read SHA's landscaping posts and Joey Wa's bbq tutorial that they may be made premium content.

Maybe an open poll that asked readers (premium and free) what they look for from HornSports and what would make them consider paying for or cancelling a premium membership would be informative to management in determining where their bread would be most effectively buttered.

But what do I know?  I'm just a caveman.

THANK YOU Embrey for the reminder that I need to post the next BBQ installment.  I'll get to work on that tomorrow on the plane.

And FWIW, BBQ advice is never going to be $$Premium$$ content on HS that is charged for, not unless they make the entire BOB a 100% pay-sub board.

Did y'all  even bother to read the OP's entire post before you started the douche bag bs?  He said that he hadn't been on the site since it went premium and today was his first time back and he was surprised that Crossfire was gone and then boom with the douche bag comments.  Embrey whatever you don't voice your displeasure with Crossfire being gone or you will be ridiculed for it or that's what I have observed as a forum stalker.

yes, i read his post and i, like the other guys was just clowning around. Pretty sure that was obvious to everyone but you.

Lighten up Homer.

I get that sarcasm is often hard to understand for some but. . . .

i do agree that while Joeywa's BBQ threads becoming premium content would be problematic, if Lukus' movie reviews go behind the pay wall, there will be a s***storm of historic proportions.

Bitches please, I have been married for 15 years to an Aggie, I know sarcasm like the back of my hand!  LOL   I guess y'all don't recognize when someone else is being equally sarcastic in a post, I guess I will have to work on that. :P

Damn, some people are just way too far caught up in there feelings. Bunch of little girl sensitivity going on around here recently.

Married to an aggie?? Shit.

I'm afraid we're gonna have to ask you to leave. Thanks for sopping by though.

:o

I have to laugh because I actually wondered for half a second. . . "how freaking obvious was that". . . .

  my bad. . . .

While my movie reviews are without a doubt worth at least $5 for each read, I'm feeling benevolent and won't charge. That reminds me...I still need to rip down...errr, "critique" Casablanca.

You're doing it wrong!

When I met my wife over 20 years ago, she was an aggie. Her dad was an aggie alum and half her wardwrobe was aggie. We started dating and after a year shechanged her mind from going to a&m to UT. Now she is a Texas alum and cheers for the Longhorns. Her dad still has not forgiven me!!

To the OPs post. I think there is a lot of new stuff that has been coming onboard lately and well worth the subscription. One of the problems, imho, was that the site went premium during fairly quiet period after all of the daily alerts on the coaching hire and such. If you look around you are starting to see where this site is headed. The content quantity and quality have picked up tremendously and despite being a young site, compared to others, it is becoming what a premium site should be.

I think they will get the swing of what will be premium versus not. Id do think things like surveys and polls are good ways for them to find out.
