We need another TE like David Thomas.  His clutch receptions in the 4th quarter against USC were the key to Texas winning the NC

over USC, kept those game winning drives going.  Thomas was always there when the WRs were covered. Sure handed and tough,

fought for the first downs, never fumbled despite hard hits by USC LBs and DBs.  Just a clutch player.  We need another TE like him.

If we're talking Texas TE's that performed and didn't necessarily get the attention they deserve, Pat Fitzgerald was a monster.  Caught everything James Brown threw anywhere near him.
