outstanding job gents!  have fun at the "under the lights" event.  be safe.

i'm not sure i understand the distinction between what you see as Bellmont's measurables for success and fans expectations, as it relates to Strong.

You say they want wins, championships, recruiting. so do we, right ?

The distinction is subtle yet important....a 3-year 30-6 record that showed steady improvement might be enough for Bellmont, but if it doesn't include a BCS Bowl and a playoff berth, then Joe Internet isn't going to be satisfied.

We're coming off a four year run of 30-22. This 'joe internet' will take 30-6 right now. But I know not everyone will.

"The hope is that Joe Wickline’s coaching returns immediate results in OL play and that he would get the award. The more realistic candidate is Pat Moorer – this team is already seeing the benefits of his program. When the season starts and players are feeling fast and confident, a lot of credit will be given to X’s, O’s and scheme, but it all starts in the weight room."

Wow, that's a great answer and was not expected. And think about this, while Mad Dog and Wylie certainly had their good moments (MD, well maybe not) - no one EVER predicted their performance would be of staff MVP caliber. Thanks for the great answer!
