Terry Bussey from Timpson High School exhibits a remarkable combination of skills that make him a standout prospect. His on-field presence is electrifying, characterized by a twitchy and smooth running style that makes his plays look effortless. As a quarterback, Bussey not only possesses a strong arm but also demonstrates precision in delivering on-time passes to his targets.

On the defensive side of the game, Bussey showcases his versatility as a playmaker at the safety position. His impressive speed and range allow him to cover significant ground, making him a reliable force in thwarting opposing offenses. Furthermore, Bussey’s defensive prowess is highlighted by his sure tackling abilities, contributing to the overall strength of his game.

Bussey earned the title of Offensive MVP of the 2A Division I Championship Game. His performance was nothing short of spectacular, as he threw the longest touchdown pass in history, a staggering 97 yards. Additionally, he recorded the longest run for a touchdown at 93 yards, solidifying his reputation as a dynamic and impactful player.

Texas offered Bussey and he made the trip to Austin for an official visit but didn’t pull the trigger and commit to the Longhorns. With a commitment to Texas A&M, Bussey’s dedication to excellence is further underscored by his outstanding statistics. Accumulating an impressive 466 total yards and scoring six touchdowns on the biggest stage at AT&T Stadium in his final high school game, he has proven himself as a force to be reckoned with on the football field. Bussey’s achievements not only speak to his individual skillset but also position him as a valuable asset for any team fortunate enough to have him on their roster.
