Riding a 10-game win streak and fresh off a 4-0 homestand, No. 1 Texas Baseball hits the road this week to face No. 11 Arkansas in a three-game series at Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville. The two programs have not faced one another in a conference series since 1991, when they were both members of the Southwest Conference. They have played a total of 118 times, with the Longhorns holding a 76-39 advantage over the Razorbacks in the series.
Texas started the season ranked No. 19 but has steadily climbed the rankings, now holding the top ranking in college baseball for the third straight week. The ‘Horns are 19-2 in SEC play, representing their best start in conference play since 2010, and are off to their best 43-game start in 21 years.
First pitch gets underway on Thursday at 6:00 pm, and the game will be televised on ESPN2.
