Game Day: #9 Texas Longhorns @ Texas Tech Red Raiders



The Texas Longhorns (0-0, 0-0) open Big 12 play with a 2:30 kickoff against the Texas Tech Red Raiders (0-0, 0-0) on Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock.  Texas brings a two-game winning streak against Texas Tech into the contest, including a 41-34 victory in Lubbock two years ago.

The Longhorns dismantled the UTEP Miners in Austin in their opening game as Sam Ehlinger threw for 426 yards and five touchdowns in the 59-3 win.  Texas Tech survived a scare from FCS Houston Baptist in their week one game, defeating the Huskies 35-33.  Quarterback Alan Bowman threw for 430 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.
