Just days before the second National Signing Day for the 2020 class, Highland Park tight end Paxton Anderson announced his commitment to the University of Texas on Monday via twitter.

Anderson received and took advantage of the preferred walk on offer extended by Tom Herman and staff, joining fellow Scots teammate Prince Dorbah in the class.  Anderson, who is 6-3 and 190 lbs., is the grandson of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

Ugh, don’t like Jerry Jones. I wish the kid well, but he’s never going to be my personal favorite.
