Kansas State is riding a three-game win streak while the Longhorns are one win from being bowl eligible for the third time in three years under Tom Herman. Texas looks to bounce back after a 37-27 loss at the hands of Max Duggan and the TCU Horned Frogs, but Kansas State is playing solid football and will ride the hot streak of quarterback Skylar Thompson into Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium.  The Longhorns have won two in a row against the Wildcats and have taken full advantage of a bye week to get healthy and prepare for their bout with Kansas State on Saturday.
