West Virginia quarterback Will Grier threw for 346 yards and 3 touchdowns as #12 West Virginia improved to 7-1 overall and 5-1 in the Big 12. Grier’s successful 2 point conversion with :16 left in the game proved to be the difference for the Mountaineers, who traded scores with the Longhorns most of the afternoon.

Sam Ehlinger threw for 3 touchdowns, a career high, and 354 yards in the loss to the Mountaineers.

Texas drops to 6-3 on the season and 4-2 in Big 12 play and will head to Lubbock next week to take on Texas Tech.
