The Texas Longhorns led Oklahoma by as many as three touchdowns before Kyler Murray and the Sooner offense charged back to tie the game late in the third quarter. True freshman Cameron Dicker kicked the game winning field goal with :09 left on the game clock, sealing the victory for Tom Herman and Texas. The Longhorns snapped a two game losing streak to their north of the border rival and brought the Golden Hat back to Austin.

Sam Ehlinger threw for 314 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 3 touchdowns. True freshman Keaontay Ingram rushed for 86 yards, showing his speed and agility against the Sooner defense. The Texas receivers had quite a day against Oklahoma’s secondary, with Lil’Jordan Humphrey finishing with 133 yards on 9 catches and a touchdown, and Collin Johnson totaling 81 yards on 6 receptions with one touchdown.

The Longhorns sit at 5-1 as they host the 4-2 Baylor Bears on Saturday at Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
