Texas Longhorns Football

Sights from the Longhorns’ 34-29 loss to the Terrapins

Sam Ehlinger threw two interceptions and Texas running back Tre Watson fumbled late in the fourth quarter, sealing Maryland’s second consecutive season-opening victory over the Longhorns.

Texas lost to the Terrapins last season 51-41 in Austin but finished 7-6 after defeating Missouri 33-16 in the Texas Bowl.

With more questions to answer on both sides of the ball, Tom Herman’s team will head back to Austin to prepare for a Week-2 matchup against Tulsa at home.
