Texas Deals Mizzou First Tourney Loss 6-1, Forces 5:00 p.m. Rematch

After losing to the Missouri Tigers on opening day of the Big XII Tournament last Wednesday, the Longhorns have been on a hot streak.  With consecutive wins against Baylor, Oklahoma State and now Missouri, the Longhorns are riding momentum as they face Missouri again in a rematch at 5:00 pm today.  The winner earns a spot in the Championship game on Sunday agains the Aggies or Wildcats.

Sam Stafford started on the mound for the Longhorns and was relieved by Kendal Carillo who retired the first 11 batters he faced.  The bats were hot for Texas who needed a win to continue tournament play.
