'Horns Romp Okie State 9-3, Stay Alive in Big XII Tourney

On a sunny day in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the Texas Longhorns brought out the bats and did some damage.  After trailing early 2-0 in the third inning, Texas came back with 3 runs in the third added an additional 3 in the fifth inning.  Texas followed up a solid batting performance with a combined 3 runs in the seventh and eight innings before shutting the door on the Cowboys in the top of the ninth.

Cole green pitched a solid 6 innings and gets the win.  The Longhorns have a shot at redemption as the play the Mizzouri Tigers on Saturday morning at 9:00 am Central Standard time.  Mizzouri sent Texas to the losers bracket on day one of the Big XII tournament.
