Word is coming out of a new 2014 offer in Florida DE Denzel Ware.
He has offers from Ohio State, Florida, Florida State and Alabama to name a few. Denzel says that he is very interested in visiting UT and would be in his top 5 but he hasn't trimmed down his list yet.
My take: Obviously the ship has sailed on Prevot with the Texas coaching staff. When a recruit announces a Top 5 and a school isn't on it, they can do 1 of 2 things: 1. Pursue harder or 2. Cut ties with recruit. It's now obvious they don't want to pursue Prevot anymore and with no other elite DEs in State, going after Drennon and Ware shows they are serious about going out of state to get the best players. With 14 commitments already and limited room in this class, I don't see another commitment coming until September when Official visits begin so that the staff can figure out the game plan for the rest of the 2013 class but it looks like Texas will take 1 DE commitment and 2 if the right one comes along.
