Thanks! It was good. Used lots of chili powder and cayenne pepper.

The more and more I spend smoking, the easier and less stressful it has become.

Now if I can only get that brisket down...

 
half the battle with brisket is selecting a good one. A simple way is finding one with enough fat, yet it still will fold in half. The next thing is cooking it low and slow. Last tip is slicing. You have to cut the big end off where the grain changes direction. I dont know why but it bothers me when people cut briskets and dont take the time to cut across the grain

Man, I love me some good brisket, but it is a skill to get it right. I think my issue has been keeping the temp right. Of course, learning to cut it right is something I'll have to work on as well.
