He has decommitted from another school & apparently committed to Texas. We should here very soon. The player is currently at his HS practice. Hang tight

Zaycoven Henderson flipped from TCU to Texas several reports have confirmed..

NOTE: No confirmation on a commitment from Henderson to Texas yet.

I'd love to see a short write-up on how situations like the confusion surrounding the "he flipped, he didn't flip" happen. I understand a lot of the recruiting of both committed and uncommitted athletes occurs in conversations that, for legitimate reasons, aren't intended to be made public. That being said, when discussions get to the point of making an announcement, how does the confusion start? Are the competing media outlets running with unsubstianted rumors just to try to get the scoop? I look for a site that gives a bit more in depth info, a slightly different perspective and context to all the different moves that are being made (I'm more interested in knowing how this affects overall scholly numbers for 2014 than to know if the kid officially flipped). I appreciate having breaking news, but recruitment news after Game 1 isn't big news. How the season progresses for various teams will certainly change commitments between now and Feb. No kid flips based on how we did against NMSU.

Looks like the boys at Inside Texas jumped the gun on a commitment again yesterday. I don't think that is the first time its happened either.

When folks say they have confirmation it means nada. High school coaches are not always in the loop either.....

I believe he was ready to pull the trigger but then decided to slow it down a bit and take some time. I think we are in pretty good shape on this one.

What I read is he de-commited but said he is going to take some visits before he commits..Texas is one of those visits.

He has de-commited from tcuthen he put out his top 6 school
And of course there were 3 Big 12 schools and 3 SEC schools.

Come on Zay, pull the trigger. Everyone's doing it.
