Vince Carter is . . .

[Sirhornsalot]

no longer a Dallas Maverick. He just signed a new deal with the Memphis Grizzlies, according to WFAA in Dallas.

Not good for the Mavs

Career averages of: 20.2 points per game, 4.9 rebounds per game, ranks 7th all-time in 3 point FGs made.  Has a reputation as a leader and good influence in the locker room.  37 years old but coming off a strong season.  Dude can still play; he's in his prime.  It's a definite hit to the Mavs.  The Mavs wanted him back but they lack the financial flexibility due to trying to land Parsons from Houston.

Sumbitch hit a money shot against SA in the first round. Put DAL up 2-1. Glad he's gone.
