Update on Burnet 2014 PK/PN Austin Huff

Was able to get a quick word from Austin after he attended Texas Kicking Camp this weekend:

"The camp went really well, I learned a lot. My kickoffs and punts were really good. When it came to the field goal competition they requested me to kick off the ground, and I've never done that so I only went up to a 45 yard field goal.

Other than that the camp was excellent, got some good feed back from Coach Diaz, he said a lot of coaches see tons of potential in me. "

The Burnet 7 on 7 team, which Austin plays WR for, has been on a tear in the SQT's.

Austin had great game last night in 7 on 7 against 5A Cedar Creek & 4A East View in Georgetown. AUstin had 2 TD's in each game. Burnet has been on a tear this summer. They are currently 23 - 0 in 7 on 7 play. Have a big SQT on June 22 at Marble Falls. 3A Burnet will be playing up against 5A & 4A completion at that Division 1 SQT.

Austin will be camping at Texas A&M July 21st, and is going to be privately worked out by STC Jeff Banks when he arrives.

Also going to camp at North Texas, and is at Texas State today (June 17)
