So going off of what McPhaul provided in his latest Crossfire, let's see if we can't put together a guesstimated timeline.
November 30th: Mack Brown announces that he will retire at the end of the 2013 Season.
December 1st: Steve Patterson takes over day to day operations.
December 4th: Steve Patterson/Texas holds a Press Conference regarding the future of the Texas Football Program.
December 30th - January 3rd: Mack Brown Coaches his last game in UT's Bowl Game.
January 4th: Mack Brown's Retirement Celebration Held at DKR
January 21st: Nick Saban is confirmed to be the next Head Coach of the University of Texas.
Notes (Reason for Dates): Here are the reasons why I chose the dates that I did. November 30th would make sense as it would be two days after the Texas Tech game and a week before the Baylor game. December 1st is already confirmed. December 4th is enough time for Patterson to at least address the current situation and give a vague description of their future plans. December 30th- January 3rd is the time frame in which Texas could either play in the Valero or Cotton Bowl. January 4th is a day after the Cotton Bowl and the first Saturday in which the Texas Student body is back from holiday break. January 21st is a little over two weeks after the National Championship game that Alabama will likely be playing in. This gives Saban enough time to either celebrate the Alabama Championship or just prepare his exit.
