Trey Dean Cancels Visit To Texas

Visit has been canceled and the Longhorns are no longer in the picture. Haven't been given a specific reason why, but this is pretty sudden change of pace.

This was a mutual decision. He was not a take at this time... This means other big time studs are probably in....

Hoping to link up with Dean and get a full run down on how things unfolded, but it looks like Texas opted to go in a different direction.

Unintended consequences seem to occur when this applies. Maybe Herman looked at what he could lose if Dean committed.

Jamison, Green and Cook are the main targets at this point. IMO.

Yes, its already going to be a vey crowded and very talented DB class. Dean would have made it harder to get the rest.

Its a pity. Any other time this would have been a commitment visit. Good player.

I forgot there probably wouldn't have been room for him with C.Sterns, Foster, Overshown, with two others ( Green and Jamison) these two I have good feelings about would be a good overhaul with DBs

This is what I meant when I said in an earlier post that Texas opted to go in a different direction. The kid liked Texas a good bit and was bringing his family on the visit.

I don't think it will. I would take Texas canceling as a sign of good news elsewhere.
