Herman says he expects Connor Williams to play this week. He says tomorrow is big step in his return with getting him in full pads.

On the Williams Injury and other injuries-"Could we have handled a WR or 2 going down? Yes. But having (Beck), (Rodriguez) and Williams go down had a huge impact on the development of the offense."

On the WR Rotation-"I think no one has completely separated themselves at those positions. There are a lot of deserving players to play."

 
More Injury News: Dorian Leonard is out with a fractured foot. PJ Locke is not likely to return this week. Gary Johnson practiced non-contact yesterday.

On the RT spot-"I think Nickelson will be the guy behind Kerstetter at RT." Mentions he wants to keep Denzel at LT, as a backup to Williams

On WVU QB Will Grier-"He's got some pretty talented guys around him. Sills leads the country in touchdowns. Grier is very accurate."

 
Herman calls the secondary play inconsistent. Praises the 3 interceptions but says they need to be more consistent.

 
On Chris Warren moving to H-Back-"We needed more physicality at the position. He can run, bend and catch the football. He loves his team and is a very hard worker"

 
On the difficulty of winning in Morgantown-"Anytime you go on the road, playing in the morning is good. I have never coached there, but I know it is going to be loud and they are a good team.
