Texas was behind during the end of Mack`s tenure and under Patterson Texas has fallen so far behind that Strong had to reduce number of GA`s to 3 so that he could bump their salary because Patterson refused to raise pay after we lost 3 GA`s following 2014 season.

I don`t think people realize how small the recruiting budget is now compared to other schools. hopefully Perrin will fix this situation but based on his refusal to reverse ticket policies and pricing despite plenty of empty seats I will not hold my breath. Texas is far behind in number of player personnel staff and media relations staff. now Strong needs to find Rucker`s replacement to run high school relations.
