Third 2013 commitment is a bit of a surprise...

A'Shawn Robinson, 6'4". 300 lb DT/OT from Arlington Heights came as a bit of a surprise. During his Jr day visit he said he was not going to be in a rush to commit.

Early word seemed to indicate UT was recruiting him as a OT but he tweeted this morning that UT had recruited him as a DT.

Either way he is a Longhorn and welcome.

Texas also is hopeing for a commitment in the near future from 6-5 Sealy dual-sport athlete(receiver/basketball player) Ricky Seals-Jones...

Tyron Swoopes commits to UT..Great get and the rumor is he is going where Ricky Seals-Jones goes..

I cannot believe the recruits of this caliber are coming in this early. As far as I'm concerned thus far we have knocked it out of the park. Still early in the game but promising for MB & staff. Seals-Jones would be a beast at wide receiver. 6'5, 220. He has the size and speed we want!
