A&M is 11-6 in the SEC. Let's look at their wins and losses
2012 Florida L (11-2)
2012 Arkansas W (4-8)
2012 Ole Miss W (7-6)
2012 LSU L (10-3)
2012 Auburn W (3-9)
2012 Miss State W (8-5)
2012 Alabama W (13-1)
2012 Missouri W (5-7)
2013 Alabama L (11-2)
2013 Arkansas W (3-9)
2013 Ole Miss W (8-5)
2013 Auburn L (12-2)
2013 Vanderbilt W (9-4)
2013 Miss State W (7-6)
2013 LSU L (10-3)
2013 Missouri L (12-2)
2014 South Carolina W(2-1)
So the teams A&M beat are 69-61 overall. That number is distorted also because A&M had one upset over Alabama who gave them 13 wins. In other words, A&M has essentially been beating teams on average that are .500 teams. A&M is 2-5 against the better SEC teams in LSU, Auburn, Alabama, and Florida (one of those wins came against a 3-9 Auburn team too). I believe the SEC has elite top tier teams but the idea that the SEC is deeper than other conferences is simply a myth. Aggy has been living off beating 2nd and 3rd tier teams that on average are hovering around a .500 record.
