Hands down my favorite movie of all time

I knew there was a reason we got along so well.

one of my favorites...I watch it over and over...a lot of great quotes in the movie, too.

- Don't try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.

- This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains.

There are too many for me to list...just great stuff though

Had a friend that played with Ron Shelton at Rochester in 1971. 

Said the movie is very spot on with the reality of minor league baseball. And he loved the movie.
