OK folks, the Heisman is handed out next month and Johnny football is all of a sudden squarely at #2 on the Heisman list behind Kansas State qb Collin Klein. I don't think there is any doubt that he has earned himself a trip to NEw York for the ceremony but my opinion is he shouldn't win the trophy. YEah he beat Bama but he also lost to Florida and LSU.
My Heisman top 5:
1. Collin Klein. Best numbers, best qb in the country right now.
2. Kenjon Braner. Averaging 6.8 ypc and already rushed for 1300+ yards this season on a pass-happy lighting fast Oregon offense.
2. Manti Te'o. The leader of the Irish defense is a beast. ND is giving up only 10 points per game and this beast is one of the biggest reasons. Yeah a lot of the luster on him is that Notre Dame is undefeated but so what.
4. Johnny Manziel. The Aggy is undoubtedly an electric player and really nothing bad to say about his play. He is a freshman and the Ags have 2 losses though. Nuff said.
5. Braxton Miller. Ohio State is undefeated and Miller is throwing the ball well. The Buckeys are not bowl eligible thanks to tattoo-gate and Tressel's screw-ups.
What say you?
