Texas vs Baylor (Game 1)

HEY! The University of Texas Baseball Team beat Baylor today, in dramatic fashion...winning with

two home runs in the top of the 9th, coming from behind. The UT Golf Team won their regional in

Lubbock, surpassing a good Texas Tech team on their home golf course, on to the NCAA Championship!

I love it when UT wins at ANY sport...the name "University of Texas" is synonymous with WINNING!

That said, I'm just thankful I got to attend college at UT...and actually left there with a Degree.

Move forward, in proactive fashion...be positive and know you and your beloved Longhorns will always

be winners!

Thanks Etex and Bear. Just saw your responses. I was asleep by 11. We left yesterday at 6:30am, watched most of the Track & Field Championships, and after checking out my friends on Hornsports, I was asleep.

It was a great day in Austin, with some great performances. One was somewhat funny, except for the unfortunate young man thinking he won. The kid, who I don't know, started celebrating before he crossed the finish line with his arm up and the number one. He didn't feel the kid coming behind him with a late surge. He got smoked just before the finish line.

He is a junior. The kid who won is a sophomore. It should be interesting next year, but more interesting was probably the ride home with his coaches. There are supposed to be some really interesting Twitter pics of him right after the race. Mileslong or something to that effect is the handle.

A blind girl won third in pole vault!! Went to medal stand with her service dog. I believe she cleared 11'.

btw, Gilmer relay team set a new state record. Kris Boyd running. He was 2nd in 100 m, I believe.
