Nothing doing in the top of the 1st for Abilene Christian.

Going to the bottom of the 1st.

Texas gets a 2 run homerun by Guilimette and a solo homerun by Brown.

Texas leads 3-0 after 1 complete.

Texas sends 13 batters to the plate in the bottom of the 2nd. Scores 8 runs. It took 34 minutes to get thru the bottom of the 2nd inning.

Texas leads 11-0. Starting the top of the 3rd.

Three innings for Kobe the relievers lookedgood. Players played who had no batting average.
I think it was an intentional decision to get Morehouse and Hurley some work today to get the bad performances from last weekend out of their system.

The entire batting order was subbed out by the end of the game. 7 inning mercy rule, 20-0

In the case of Morehouse, it absolutely was intentional. Pierce wanted to get him some live game action to work on mechanics and approach. He got one inning of work and while not perfect, he was effective. It was a good thing for him.

The 2nd inning went like this:

Walk, Walk, popped up bunt for out 1

RBI single, HBP to load bases, Wild pitch (run scores), Walk to load bases, Wild Pitch (run scores)

Walk to load bases, RBI Walk, Pop up for out 2

2 RBI double, Walk to load the bases, 2 RBI single, ground out for out 3

ACU pitching was definitely an adventure tonight.

Morehouse'a bad performes goes back farthrt than one game. His atats are terrible. Maybe this outing helped.

I went and looked at ACU's schedule to see who they played/beaten. Their wins include ou, Baylor, Nebraska and Oral Roberts. They played TCU twice losing 7-0 & 7-5. They must have had a very off night last night.

Didn't they beat aggy?

No, they don't play aggy this year. They did have Tech on their schedule for 4/5, but it was postponed until 4/25.

You may be thinking of UTSA, they beat aggy in collie station a week or so ago.
