It was LUNACY in the opener for Texas in the Women's Softball College World Series as Blair Luna threw K after K and grabbed her 31st victory of the season. Texas beat the Sun Devils 6-3 but trailed 2-0 early and then took the lead 4-2 in the 5th after Kim Bruins hit a 2-run home run after ASU outfielder Elizabeth Caporuscio failed to make the catch in left field. The ball ended up spilling out of Caporuscio's glove and over the fence.

The Longhorns went on to score 2 more runs to ASU's 1, winning the opener for both teams 6-3.

The Longhorn Softball team will play the winner of the Michigan/Oklahoma game on Friday night. #Hookem.
