Texas recap from Media Days

[Matt Cotcher]

Everything's bigger

[Aaron Carrara]

Well written recap, Matt.

It was very circus-esque in the media ballroom.  The cameras were set up long before he was supposed to arrive and one reporter even brought a ladder!  Ok, it was a tall stepstool, but WOW! Strong was undoubtedly the hot commodity of the day and all of Media Days.

Regarding his full presser and how he did....  I thought he did fantastic.  First of all he is physically in great shape and it shows.  He also seems like the real deal in a "what you see is what you get" aspect.  He was thrown a couple of tough questions but he held his ground.  Folks (media and fans alike) need to give him a chance before they make judgment on him.

What you can't tell from the photo/tweet in the story what the chaos is like directly in front of the wall of people you see. It was at least 3-deep by the time Strong got to his seat...

He needs to start powdering his head - the reflection can be blinding.

Excellent write up, Matt.

stoops is still the devil, but i like that he seems to enjoy dogging the SEC.

[Matt Cotcher]

Stoops can't resist taking jabs at the SEC. Of course, it doesn't help that Saban has downplayed that bowl game....
