Right, but I was more reacting to his willingness to play that position. Of course you don't throw someone out there to play a position they've never practiced at.

However, that's the first time I've ever heard of his willingness to play TE. They couldn't give him some reps for X weeks of practice and see how he looked?

The backup quarterback is going to take reps at tight end (a position he has never played before) in an offense that doesn't prioritize the position. I'm not with you on that. And it's also wasn't Charlie's call. That's a Sterlin call.

Like I just said to Bear, he was the backup QB so that takes priority over giving him reps at TE. It's also on the OC to decide if they want to tinker with him at another position.

Say he starts taking reps at TE and he gets hurt during game prep and can't play in the game. You are now down to one QB and in a pickle.

Yes I understand that and you are right.

But the last three years were so miserable I couldn't blame anybody for wishing we had tried something different.

And I would love to see Swoopes make it in the NFL. It will be very difficult.

Well thankfully for everyone involved there is a new staff in place who seem capable of getting things back on track.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone being happy and merry on Saturdays in the fall for a change.

While I do wish the best for Foreman, I do wish he'd slide to the 2nd or 3rd round.  He'd be an excellent change of pace/3rd down back for the Dallas Cowboys.  And I'd love for them to pick him up

Defense is certainly a priority this draft.  As it should be!

True, or alternatively, you decide to be a competent coaching staff and address all of this in the offseason.

Sorry, Daniel. I fully agree with and understand what you're saying. I'm more frustrated with the ineptitude of the previous staff on this issue.
