Good win by the Horns tonight. This team is young and it shows but it also gives me a glimmer of things to come. Mack had a hot hand to start the 2nd half to give the Horns a big lead. Ok St came back then it was Davis' turn to get hot.

At one point Texas was hitting 85+% of their FTs. They went on a cold streak late and Ok St started hitting 3s to make it close but in the end, the Horns took control.

BTW, they list Forte to be a senior but it seems like he has been at Ok St for 10 yrs!

Great game. Had me worried when we couldn't hit the free throws. Let's hope this is something they can build on and we see steady improvement

Tech beat #7 WV

TCU beat OU, always a good thing

OSU is a start, but most teams in this conference will be better.

I haven't lost total interest, but must admit not making as much an effort to watch entering the season. I do believe they will be better at end of season versus now, but not sure good enough to make tournament at this point. I will say that I have not lost faith in Smart.

I can agree with those comments. Texas was obviously over-rated coming into the season but the good news is I see none of the young players going pro after 1 year. I saw some mistakes last night that can be attributed to youth and I too believe Smart will have this group playing better ball later in the season. I also believe that Texas will be better in years to come than they are now.
