Taylor Doyle named to Rimington Watch list

Texas senior center Taylor Doyle has been named to the Rimington Trophy watch list, released today.

Doyle joins 62 other D-I centers on the list.

Other Big 12 players named to the watch list include Baylor's Kyle Fuller, Oklahoma's Ty Darlington, TCU's Joey Hunt, Texas Tech's Jared Kasper and West Virginia's Tyler Orlovsky.

Finalists for the award will be announced on December 7, 2015.

beat me to it. the whole 'watch list' thing is stupid. who is actually 'watching'? can you fall off the list? if you come out of nowhere can you get on it and win it? if the answer to the second question is 'yes', what was the point of watching in July?
