Important things from the presser.

1) Oliver and Ash are out with injury. Are expected to be back for fall practices.

2) Strong said Swoopes looked good on Saturday. Said he threw a couple touchdowns.

3) Strong said Bergeron will be back in the Summer, if he does what he wants him to do.

4) Strong said Raulerson is looking good at center. Strong was very complimentary of the offensive line.

5) Strong likes Ridgeway. Said once he learns how to use his hands, will be a very good player.

6) Strong loves Edmonds. Said he's a hard worker and great leader.

7) Strong said it's biggest strengths right now are at the offensive line and RB. Mentioned Overstreet a lot.

We've heard more about Jalen Overstreet today than we have in the last year and a half.
Sadly a player that was wasted last year IMO under Mack. Looked special in the New Mexico State game, and really didn't get many touches after that game. Granted, it was against New Mexico State in mop up time but Overstreet looked like the best back that game. Difficult to get guys like Overstreet the ball with the depth we have at RB, but he needs touches. I think you will hear Overstreet's name a lot this year.......type of player Strong loves.

3) Strong said Bergeron will be back in the Summer, if he does what he wants him to do.
Disappointed with Bergeron. Jeff Howe had an interesting take on him on the 247 podcast. He thinks he plays with a chip on his shoulder and wants to be a bounce outside running back instead of north-south where he is best. Perhaps he is not seeing eye-to-eye with Robinson, and Strong believes he has suitable backups (Overstreet and Catalon). SImilar thing happened his sophomore year when Gray arrived, right?

Thanks for posting.  Sure be easier to listen to , if you could hear the questions from the reporters.   I would think all the money ESPN is paying that could pass around some kind of microphone for the reporters.
