The last three hires came out of nowhere. None of the three were even hinted at by anyone.

I have a feeling there's more where this came from.

I think it moved again. I like the way this is going. Unpredictable with good results.

This is going in the right direction.....I feel like I have done Strong wrong. Strong is bringing it to the end. Go Strong HOOK'EM

DL coach was hinted on 247 yesterday in a "to watch" category but it was not who they were thinking would land here. I do agree and enjoy that info is not being leaked.

This is why I get a kick out of the "chicken littles" worrying about everything before we really even know.

Strong has had one hell of a lid on this and has kept all the normal outlets guessing a little more.

Since he has hired a running backs coach, do any of you think that means that he has an agreement with an offensive coordinator? I suspect he is close, and if down to two, both of approved of the hire.

Hook 'em!

I'm of the opinion that if it was Watson, we would already know. I know that's not your question, but if we know the RB coach, we would know the OC if it was Watson.

The only way it would be him is if they are holding off announcing for contractual purposes, but I don't think that's the case.

I think the fact that things are being kept air tight by the new regime, speaks volume. Great leadership, and great things to come! Hook em

I hope so... I'd love for Texas to be sealed tight as long as we are winning.

If not I want to know why? Lol

I have seen this somewhere else, but I think that if Wickline is on board that leads us to a true spread OC.

I, for one am excited that the great ship that is Belmont seems to have patched its leaks. It is very interesting though to watch the daily meltdown sideshow that seems to occur on the different sites. Great comic relief.

I love the no leak process. I feel no dumber than the "insiders" for once.

In other news, the KKK tried to hold a rally on OB last night, but I think Geoff deleted the two threads. El Che Guevara was still burning crosses randomly on other threads.

See if I can get this tweet to show...

Just spoke w/Joe Wickline. He hates the attention, but said he is talking to UT hc Charlie Strong about a job. Wick in Stillwater for now.
— Robert Allen (@RAllenGoPokes) <a href="

I was reading this morning about the new hires and thought the same thing. Things are looking up, Longhorns. Exciting times!

Following the coaching hires is like watching a good murder mystery with a lot of plot twists and misdirection. Just when you think you know whodunit, they kill 'em off.....

IMO, the leaks are very damaging in the hiring process. I love the fact that Coach is confident in his judgement, and simply hires his staff. Insecurity and football are incompatible.

The meltdowns are conditioned responses following 4 to 7 years of increasing frustration, longer if one considers the frustration with Mack's first o-line coach. Was that Nunez?
