Strong and Redshirts

When Strong was hired I talked to quite a few Louisville fans on other websites and they said expect to redshirt a bunch of guys in the first couple years. It looks like they were correct. It's crazy looking at the participation reports and how few players we are playing compared to the other teams. Looks like Strong is trying to save redshirts on quite a few players. 

Based on what I've seen on the participation reports these are all players that haven't seen action and looks like Strong wants to redshirt (I might have missed a couple names so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). 

Roberson, Freeman, Heard, Catalon, Roberts, Ford, Cuney, Hampton, Bonney, Gray, Bernard, Whiteley, Rodriguez, McMillon, Nelson, Leonard, Anderson. IMO Roberson, Ford, Nelson, Heard, Whiteley and Catalon could probably contribute a little this year, so it gives you a little insight into Strong and redshirting.

If we don't see Roberson by baylor, I'm losing a bet which is fine. . .we'll eat well. . . . but hope he doesn't pull the shirts off the OLs. . .

We need to get Harrison/Kennedy either off suspension or off the team, pick one.

If we get both them back, we can move Hutchins and Perkins inside to OG and seriously upgrade our OL.

Plus getting Daje back so we don't have to burn shirts on the other WR (Foreman and Joe have already played).

D foreman is another I wish we hadn't played. . . .

Agree about Harrison and Estelle. If we have to kick them off the team so be it. It's time we roll with them or without them. I think Foreman will get some more touches by the end of the year. I don't mind Foreman burning his shirt as long as he gets some experience.

Didn't A Foreman make a catch in the N Tx game? Thought he made a sideline short grab during the second half. Thought he had already seen some action. Could be confused on the young players numbers. Thought it was 83 making the catch. Let me know if anybody has some clarity for me on this.

Yes both Foremans have played. I didn't list either Foreman. I think maybe you misread "Freeman".
