What a difference between Stoops and Strong!! After all of Strong's losses, not once did I hear him put the blame on the players. Yeah, he would say the team didn't execute, but his presentation was always that the coaching staff had to get better at getting the team to execute. He used a lot of "we" and "the team". During Stoops conference, all I heard was how the players didn't execute. How the coaches prepared the team and that his players didn't make plays.
Maybe I'm just looking through my burnt-orange glasses, but I sure heard a lot of deflection from Stoops. Most of it to deflect from himself and the coaching staff.
