To be honest with yall, the ladies made a run much deeper in the tournament than I thought they would but last night they met a team that exposed and took advantage of their weakest links.
If you watched the game, the Horns had really good runs with their strong rotation (ie Collins in the back). When Collins was up front, Stanford took advantage of a big height difference and attacked her. I stated earlier this year that Paulina is inconsistent and last night she may have had her worse game as a Horn. She was pulled after the 2nd set (hit a -.231) but it may have been too late. I did feel bad for her cause she's a gamer.
Texas loses Collins, Pualina and Dalton. However they have studs coming back at every position minus setter (think QB if not familiar with volleyball) and they number 1 recruiting class. I can see a couple of more Final Fours in their future.
