So ... how many A&M boosters went to Boulder, Colorado on Sunday?

This is gonna sound like a cheap shot but IMO , Prime has one goal, get his son to the NFL, after his son is gone do you really see him putting in the grind of day to day operations to run a program. Prime was never known to be a student of the game, he is basically being the Elmer Gantry of college football. There has got to be something fishy going on when players transferred out, they weren't buying his brand of snake oil or his claims to be the rainmaker
Or they weren’t good enough or wouldn’t buy into his culture and he asked them to leave. Something like if you don’t get on board you ain’t gonna play.

Prime is all about prime.  I’ve heard some stories on him from a personal level that show what a sleezy human he really is

Yep. Experienced it first hand. Not a good dude.

Top 3 best athlete ever and can market his brand with the best of them, but that's it.

You are giving TCU and Nebraska a lot of credit.

TCU looking more like a middle of the pack Big12 school this year and Nebraska is even worse.

I am waiting to see what Colorado can do in 2 weeks against Oregon and then I'll buy the hype.
TCU I think will be pretty good this year.  I bet they end in the top 25.  Nebraska is bad, but CU was in worse shape.  Anyhow... I (obviously) think what Dion has done so fare is jaw dropping.  In two weeks I may say "your caution was right."

Care to elaborate?  I thought he may have gotten his life together in his later years.  But I haven't followed the Dion story all that closely.

I agree - I rank Dion with Bo Jackson as two of the best "athletes" I have ever seen (Jerry Gray says hi).

I will.  He told a schools admin to pick 100 kids in need of a good Christmas. He wanted to do an anonymous Christmas deal for them.  The admin got together and picked them.  The day before it was to happen he notified the school he’d have TV networks there to broadcast it.  The school said they couldn’t allow it as it would reveal the identity of students on national tv.  That and he’s already said it was to be “anonymous”.  He cancelled the entire thing.  Come to find out he wanted the school to do all the legwork so he could get the credit

I once gave him a bid to maintain his property there in Prosper. But I was never able to meet him. He had some lady who makes his calls for him.

I hear he's an egotistical prick but has softened some in the last few years. Being an active Dad has mellowed him some. But you've all seen how he acts when he talks about his two boys on that team.

So far, I think we have to admit the Deon experiment is working far better than expected.

I would do the same thing. The second part, yes I do. Deion has too much passion for the college game.

Nah, I'll keep it to myself. I'll say this. I have friends that have dealings with him on different levels and the stories told by others here are on brand.

My experiences with him are around his Prime academy days, so he may well have changed. Let's hope so.
