UPDATE, 10:23: Players leaving the team meeting would not comment and were being escorted out by VCU's media relations staff.

UPDATE, 10:04: Shaka Smart arrived for the team meeting he called with his VCU players just after 10 p.m. He had no response when asked for comment.

UPDATE, 9:46 p.m.: The VCU basketball team meeting with head coach Shaka Smart is now set for 10 p.m.

UPDATE, 8:59 p.m.: Shaka Smart's meeting with the team has been delayed. No word of when it will start.

The meeting was originally scheduled to start at 8 p.m.

UPDATE, 7:34 p.m.: Shaka Smart has scheduled a meeting with his VCU team for 8 p.m. tonight, a source confirmed.

It is unclear what will be discussed at that meeting.

Well, Bon has a pretty good report by GoBR that Smart t has agreed to terms.

That would be good news and I have to say "Welcome aboard" Coach Smart

Sounds like we've agreed to terms with Smart. I'm hearing reports that its a done deal. Funny how we've been calling his name for a couple years now and bam, just like that, he's our coach.
