Things are starting to pick up steam, but I have a question(s)

Has anyone a timetable when we might see a new AD?

Does it seem a little late in the day to consider a basketball coach? Does anyone see a change before nest season?

Will Mack still have an place at Texas when he retires, or do we see a clean break?

Word on the street is they want him in place by 12/1, but could be done as soon as 11/15 ish. I think they know who they want and its all about money and exit strategies.

Barnes is going to coach this season for sure, and it will turn into a GIGANTIC dumpster fire. I wouldnt expect movement on him until after the NCAA tourney, when football is fully versed in the offseason and there is a ton of time to get a new guy in and doing his recruting. First call? I think you offer the moon to VCU's Shaka Smart and make him tell you no.

Hard to say, I think he has a place with the Longhorn Foundation raising money, but no coach is going to want to come in with grandpa looking over his shoulder.
