RSJ had committed to Texas, remember? Then he changed his mind, and de-committed to UT and then the Longhorns stopped recruiting the Sealy High School Player altogether. He was a top-5 national player and we were all perplexed at the time the 'Horns stopped recruiting him. Turns out the university was probably doing a good thing.

Read this and tell me that Texas didn't say WTF - and pull out altogether. This is Cam Newton-esque stuff.

One thing i'll say about mack, is he is all class when it comes to recruiting... These are things they see long before we hear...

There was a reason Texas backed off and there were rumors of $ at that time. Not surprised at all. Just like uncle, you know something happened to help RSJ turn his interest to Aggieland. Also surprised at the amount that was offered, thats a lot of $ that should be untraced. NCAA as usual wont do a thing.

It made no since to drop his recruitment cold-turkey but in hindsight, thank goodness UT is smart. Texas A&M might want to watch it. This news of RSJ and the recent news of Manziel really puts aggy in a bad light. The fame is proving to be detrimental in aggyland..............
