One of the veteran posters over there received a "threatening email" tonight

I know of some other people being contacted by staff and told to lay off Mack.

Until Wallace Hall is gone the BOR members are not going to get any respect from the alumni. If the Regents are actively working against the best interests of the University, the alumni are going to take on every board member when they push back as individuals against the alumni. If Hicks wants to be a voice in the discussion, he should start a blog, accept feedback and be part of the discussion. If he simply wants to pontificate, to hell with him.

Absolutely, but Mack's perceived stranglehold on those that want to exercise that right is absurd.

Tell the BOR peeps to get their act together.
