In the past week, we have seen our OL commit Imade jump from a 2 star to a 4 star rivals ranking and Demarco Boyd earn his 4th star as well. I fully expect WR commit Curtis to pick up a 4th star and maybe one more. . . why? Because they are good. Without adding a commit, CFS/TEXAS jumped up to #46 overall.
Now I acknowledge that stars can be misleading but there is in fact a very strong correlation between w/l records and strong recruiting classes so they cannot be ignored either.
So with that in mind, I did some research to see just where we are recruiting wise. . .using Rivals. . .we actually are ranked higher at ESPN and 24/7.

But all the chicken littles screaming how our recruiting sucks pay attention. . . . Today we are ranked #49. . . .
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. . . ..WE SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not so fast my friend. . .or as Paul Harvey would say. . . . now for the rest of the story. . . ..
CFS has 12 commits averaging a 3.42 star ranking. . . . .
We are ahead/recruiting better (or about the same) as:
LSU #2 17 commits 3.47 (IOW, same quality class just smaller)
Mich #4 24 commits 3.24 CFS actually doing better
Florida #5 25 3.28
Stanford #6 20 3.4 quality the same
#7 Ole Miss 18 3.4
#9 UCLA 19 3.2

Bottom line. . . .CFS closes late not early, most of those classes are done. . .CFS likely to double the number of commits and the majority are likely to be 4 star kids. . . .but even if all we do is continue at the pace we're on, we top most of the classes in the Top 10.
CFS is the Head man in 2016. . . . .insiders were full of it .. . . . I'm pulling for CFS to prove me wrong but regardless, I'm always pulling for TEXAS to do well and you can't do that without quality recruiting . .. .
