Ran into a former 'Horns basketball player today

My good bud is an adjunct professor/ employee at a community college near Galveston and they had a golf tourrnament fundraiser today at Bayou Golf Club. He asked me to play and of course I said yes and drove down today. So I get out there early and we are eating lunch and a guy my friend knows joins us at our table. My buddy tells him I went to UT and I find out this guy used to play basketball for Texas. His name is Michael Richardson and he played for Texas from 1991-1993. He was recruited and coached by Tom Penders and led the Southwest Conference in scoring for a few years. I believe he went on to work for Coach Penders at University of Houston a few years back. He was a great guy and he told me some cool stories about his basketball success and some of the guys he played with while at Texas - Terrence Rencher, BJ Tyler, Rodrick Anderson....

Believe it or not I remember him. He played high school ball in Louisiana and was a mean scorer for Texas back then. Hard to recognize him now but I guess he got older just as we all do! He had a high fade haircut back in the day.
