- The Defense is doing a great job of recovering from the offense's mistakes.
- Credit the Defensive Line from creating constant pressure on Hill and limiting a very multiple BYU offense. The only time BYU has had gains of 10 or more is when Hill had little to no pressure.
- The two turnovers could have really hurt, but the D really cleaned up.
- The inexperience on the Line pulled at least 3 points off of the board. That chop block was unnecessary and pushed Rose out of his comfort zone.
- On the other hand, credit the young guys for keeping Swoopes relatively clean.
- I'm surprised we haven't seen more roll outs, but Swoopes hasn't seemed flustered at all.
- Swoopes has to recognize the pocket Zane move forward instead of scrambling. When he does roll, he needs to move a little quicker.
- Harris had a rough couple of plays, but he recovered last week and can do it again.
- Gray and Brown are not a factor. They need to get involved a little more.
