Through 1 complete, Texas trails 1-0

Kam Fields got the start on the bump and gave up a BB, E5 and an RBI single in T1.

Horns go down in order in B1 on 3 Ks.

 
Quick update

Horns trail 4-3 here in B6

 
Game tied at 4 thru 7 complete

 
McLennan plates two in T8, leads 6-4.

 
Horns trail 6-4 in T10

Texas giving a lot of different players looks today.

 
Horns cut the lead to 8-7 in the 11th

 
Headed B12, Horns trail by 1, 7-8

@joeywa do these scrimmages typically go that many innings? I assume they're trying to make sure they get everyone some reps?
Yes sir. You only get two outside competition dates in the fall, but there is no limit to the amount of innings. And you are right it is a chance to get people at bats and innings vs. someone in a different color uniform. You kind of figure out what pitchers you want to get work and for how long  and that’s the number of innings you play.

John is correct. Next weekend it’s 18 innings.
