Let's assume the CS is our head coach.

Whether you support or hate the hire, what is it that you expect to see that tells you he will succeed?

...top notch recruits, reversing their current commitment stances... and taking another look at "texas".

"If you don't eat bricks for breakfast, you won't last long with Charlie Strong. The first thing he's going to do is find out who is tough and who isn't. The guys that aren't tough won't be around long."

That's all I need to know about him.

I thought this was going to be a thread about acne cream.
I know you are a moderator but I have to up your rep for that. Well done sir.

There will be a lot of tell-tale signs to look for.

Prior to the season, I will be curious to see if some players quit or seek transfer. We keep hearing about his toughness and non-nonsense attitude as well as the end of the entitlement/country club attitude in Austin. So I expect this would be one place for that to show up.

In season, sound defensive scheming, tough attitude and please, please, please solid tackling. Sounds simple but I feel like I have been screaming about those things forever. On offense, for me it has to be the play of the offensive line - another thirst never quinched.

Oh, and t-shirt sales. Fo sale now -- http://www.teespring.com/stronghorns

Conference title in 2nd year, playoffs by 3rd. conference title at least 40% of the time. This is not for CS but for any UT football coach.
